Busy Summer!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I have been very busy trying to walk (while holding onto someone's hands) and waving bye-bye. I also am helping Mom and Dad pack, and without me they wouldn't have much done yet. I am very good with boxes!



Here are some pictures from the past month...

I do a new smile where I scrunch my nose and show my teeth. Mom tried to get me doing it here, but I wouldn't quite let her! You can also see my newest haircut in this picture!


I was helping Mom in the kitchen and decided the chair was more fun to sit in when you are sitting sideways.



Here I am starting to crawl. I am finally starting to crawl a little bit, but for now it is more of an army crawl than a real crawl!

Happy 4th Of July!!

Happy 4th of July everyone! We went to the park in Monroe today to play games and enjoy the 4th festivities. Unfortunately it was a pretty rainy day (until we headed home and then the sun came out). Here I am with Grandma after I played the Pick a Duck game and the Pick a Sucker game.


Here we are enjoying a horse-drawn wagon ride.

But the BEST part of the day was the free flag I got at the park. It is SO COOL!! I was waving it all over, and everyone had to watch out!

It was even cool when Grandma was waving it and I got to watch!

I got some new toys this week that Mom and Dad say I am not big enough for yet, but I beg to differ...

Here is my new ride-on toy. I can make it go with my feet a little bit, but I am a little wobbly. I like the sounds it makes though!

One night I was helping Mom cook in the kitchen. I held all of her utensils for her. I am very good with a spatula...

My First Time at the Zoo!

Yesterday I got to go the zoo for the first time. It was a great day outside, and I had a good time. I liked watching the kids more than the animals, but I did see a few of the animals.


Taking a break with Grandma...

I got to ride on the carousel, and I had lots of fun doing that (as long as the carousel was moving).

Mom made me be a penguin...and an orangutan...and a polar bear. They had lots of these things to put your head in!

My new babysitters?

These two pictures are of the "little" girls that Mom used to babysit before I came along. Amanda just graduated from College. Cassandra is graduating from High School tomorrow and Jessica was just confirmed. Boy Mom, don't you feel old!!

Here I am in the swing that Mom used to push these two girls in. I like it just as much as they used to!

Ridin' High

I got to help Grandpa correct papers when I was visiting. Grandpa is in shock about what grade I gave him. You think a C- isn't good, Grandpa?

Grandma let me sit in her picture window. Mom said that I was pretty special because she didn't get to sit and do that when she was little.

I got to play with Great-Grandma too. She helped me stand up and be big!

Uncle Jay gave me a ride on his shoulders. That view was so great I got a little sick from being up so high. Sorry Uncle Jay!

Dad got me a new backpack so that we can go on hikes. I really like it, but I have to lean to the side so I can see around Dad's big head.
