Joey-isms

Mom hasn't taken a whole lot of pictures of me lately so I thought I would take the opportunity to write down some things I have been saying recently. Mom said that I should since some of the things don't come out the way that other people say them (this English language thing is HARD!). First I will write what I say and then what I am talking about...

soppy-caterpillar or syrup or ketchup
libey-library
wawa-water
hehwro-hello
do-juice
walalamelon-watermelon
pahyee-potty
nana-banana
cycle-motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle
buh-bear
Amama-Amanda
Papa-Grandpa
Rmama-Grandma
Adea-Adria (a girl at school, and I always yell after I say her name because she is so wild!)
Sosho-Rocio (a teacher at school, I make my lips in a pucker when I say this one)
hammy-hammer
nee-neigh or knee
etty-elephant
buh buck-wake up

Here are some other words that I can say perfectly!
Hi
Bye
Bus
Bubbles
Milk (I finally add the k at the end)
Park
Car
Truck
Turtle
Sheep
Bug
Uncle
Cindy (teacher at school)
Mouse

There are many others in both lists, but this is what I came up with for now!

Some funny things I do!

If I do something mean and someone pretends to cry; I go over to them and pet their arm and say "hi" in a cute voice. It usually works!

When I see Captain Feathersword from the Wiggles, I swing my arm and say hewro!

Bouncy, Bouncy, BOUNCY!

Before the bounciness begins, here are some pictures from taking Uncle and Amama to the Splash Park. Amanda taught me to splash Uncle, which as you can see from my expression was SUPER fun!

It was a little on the chilly side since the water was shaded during the time of day we went. I had to warm up at the picnic table for a little bit.

On to the bouncing!! I am starting to hope that Summer lasts forever! I have been doing so many fun, new things and each one I think I love more than the other! The latest new thing was Bouncy Town USA! There are a bunch of inflatables to jump and play in. We went on a Friday night, which apparently was good because I was pretty much the only toddler there (they have a couple separate toddler areas). It was a great chance to learn about how to bounce and tire myself out! By the end of the night, I was so tired I could hardly get up when I fell down, and I actually woke up in the middle of the night and had to have a snack because I was SOOO hungry. I haven't done THAT in a VERY long time!! It was a great time though, and I can't wait till Mom and Dad let me go back!

Can you see how tired I am? Dad, this wasn't the best time to get my picture!!

Here's some videos to show how I was learning to jump and how hard it is to get up when you fall down and you are tired!

Summer Fun!

I got to go to the Jefferson County Fair last weekend. It was a blast! I went into at least 4 different barns of animals, and some I went back to for a second time...I especially liked the goats, but all of the animals were great!

Grandpa had to hold me for the horses. They were SOO tall!

Giving a goat a hug....

Trying to be a goat with Mommy. My attention was still focused on the goats.

Amama

Amama (Amanda for those of you who don't speak my language) is joining my family!!! I am very happy to have an Aunt so it will be interesting to see if I end up just calling her "Aunt" and not Aunt Amanda. Congratulations Uncle and Amama!!!

4th of July and a New Room!

I had a very fun 4th of July weekend, and I am on vacation all of this week so I am living the high life!!

Here I am with Daddy and the deer friend I made at Mackenzie Environmental Center. I loved visiting all the animals. I didn't want to leave so I tried crying and saying "animals" and pointing, but Mom and Dad made me go!

Daddy and I climbed a tower. I wasn't scared a bit, but Dad seemed a little nervous!

Saturday I got to play in my pool for the first time...or maybe I should say "on" my pool. I wouldn't sit down in the pool; I had to sit on the edge. Hey, would you like to sit around in wet pants??

Grandma and Grandpa came to stay overnight since Jacob is scared of fireworks, and Sun Prairie doesn't have any. It was great! I was WILD!

On the 4th of July, I got to go to Monroe to the park to play games and watch dancing. I loved the dancing. After they were done with one song, I would say "more".

Trying to throw bean bags. I would like one of these saddles at home.

Monday, we redecorated my room. I am getting more of a little boy's room instead of a blah baby's room. See the Sesame Street theme??

I hope you had a great 4th too!!

Catch Up!

I'm back! I have had a fun few weeks. I got a water table so that I can play in the water outside! It is great! I get almost as wet with it as I do in the bathtub.

Concentrating very hard...

Watching the NBA Finals with Dad...I love "ball"!

Father's Day with one of my Grandpas! I got to help open presents.

Playing with "Uncle"...I don't say the Jay part, just Uncle. Good thing I only have one!!

Going to look at the garden with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle and Great-Grandma!! I got a lot of attention!!

I got to go back to the fun sprinkler park. I was a little more confident...but I still stayed on the edges!

Watching the bucket drop on someone's head! BOOM!

Finally recovering from Memorial Day Weekend!

I had a great Memorial Day Weekend, but man was I busy! My sleep schedule is still a little off because of it (or maybe it's because I just like to stay up until 9pm...Mom's not sure and I'm not telling!)

I'll explain the weekend most recent to latest because that is how I always manage to put these pictures up here!

Monday I went to brat fest...note that my favorite part was NOT the brat. Also note that I thought brat fest meant brat (braaat) fest so I acted that part out pretty well (until I had the ice cream and then I was fine).

Sunday I went to a sprinkler park in Middleton after Great Uncle Mickey's 75th birthday party. I got REALLY hot at the party so Mom and Dad said I needed to cool off. Can you tell I had fun?

There was this one thing at the park that dumped a bucket of water on a person's head. I thought I better have Dad hold me because that bucket was really cool, but I didn't want it on MY head.

Here I am braver at the beginning...I hadn't seen that cool bucket yet!

At Great Uncle Mickey's party, taking a break...

Greeting Liam at the party. Liam is only one day younger than me! We will have fun in a year or two.

At home on Mom and Dad's bed on Friday after a trip to the zoo and downtown. Mom forgot to bring her camera downtown, but there was a fountain there that I have to go back to. IT WAS AWESOME. I was squealing and running and squealing some more. I was even happy when I got back home.

I wasn't so happy riding the carousel at the zoo though. I was fine riding it when I was 9 months old, but I didn't understand now why Dad had to wait outside of the ring...and I didn't want to ride one of those animals.

On the bench...still not having fun!

Only minor crying now, I enjoyed about 20 seconds total of this ride.

Thanks for stopping!
