Noah's Ark!

We went to Noah's Ark yesterday since Mommy got free tickets from work (just like last year). I love being able to go, but it is a good thing it is free because I don't use the park the way it is intended. I prefer to stay with my feet planted firmly on the ground. Splashing in the water is lots of fun, but the slides, I don't need them. I went down one slide with Mommy (the one I went down lots of times last year by myself), and then told her "I'm good for slides" (meaning I don't need to go down anymore). I had so much fun though and got tired out! Sam was a trooper as usual and though he didn't sleep at the park, he got some relaxing in and seemed to enjoy himself.

Dressed and ready to go!

Sam, the VIP, has arrived in his chariot!

Excited to go in!

Trying to shoot Daddy with water...

Sam tried out the swing and contrary to this picture, seemed to enjoy it for a little bit. This picture was right after I accidentally splashed him with water. Oops!

Tired from a fun day! I've already asked to go back.

Fishing, Friends and Pirates

Sam and I have been pretty busy lately. We have been doing a LOT of playing and new things too.

Here is Sam sitting in his bumbo eating. He does have a diaper on even though it is hard to see :)

Sam also got his first tooth this week. It cut through early in the week, and he dealt with it pretty well.

Sam is sitting up on his own a little better, but he is still pretty unsteady. He is rolling wherever he wants to get to, which is usually one of my toys or a crinkly bag.

I got to go fishing last weekend for the first time. Here I am all set to go...

I caught a fish! I don't look excited, but I was! I helped put worms on the hook and threw the fish back into the water. I had a Tweety Bird fishing pole, which I was very happy to tell everyone about.

Austin and Mason came to play with me (they are twins, which you can't really tell since Mason is wearing a mask). We had a lot of fun playing Avengers and going to the park.

We also spent a lot of time behind the chair...

Brothers!

Sam wants to crawl so badly!!

Sam tried out the johnny jump up and loved it! He could bounce all day, I think!

Saturday we went to Pirate Day in Monroe! I dressed the part and had a great time!

Sam got sleepy but didn't want to give in!

Can you see me and Sam? I think the nuk look is great for a pirate!

Tomorrow I get to go to Noah's Ark so hopefully we will have even more pictures soon!

The Avengers and More

Here are some pictures of what Sam and I have been up to lately. I LOVE the Avengers! My Captain America shield goes with me EVERYWHERE, and I will show anyone who looks at me what I have.

Mommy got a tee ball set for me at a garage sale. I'm pretty good at hitting the ball.

Sam got to swing at the park for the first time, and I got to push him. He loved it!

Sam started sitting by himself on May 20th. Uncle Jay, take note of the onesie in the next couple pictures...

Sam has his own pair of sunglasses now too. To all of our surprise, he really likes them and didn't try to take them off at all. We'll see how long that lasts!

Pictures from G&G's Camera

Well, some of these pictures go back quite a ways (as you can tell by the snow), but Mommy finally got the pictures off of Grandma and Grandpa Hyland's camera so here is the long post!

Sledding with Mommy...I went both with Mommy and by myself. It was great!

Snow angels. Mommy had to convince me to come lay by her...

This is how I play ping pong. Don't look at this picture for the safe way to do it!

Sam helped Mommy hit the ball.

I love to climb in Sam's car seat. I can almost still fit :)

Easter egg hunt in Monroe...

Easter egg hunt at G&G's house!

Sam is learning to read early.

Playing too hard at Grandma and Grandpa's house results in this...

Riding the tricycle Mommy rode when she was little...

Helping Grandma plant  her garden..

Planting beans...

At the Healthy Kids Fair at the YMCA. Getting my fingerprints done.

Doing the obstacle course (Mommy should have taken video of this)...

Golfing! I got a hole in one and figured there was no need to take another shot so I walked away. :)

Riding a pony for the first time. I was very brave (since I have had no interest in doing this before this day)...

Thanks for visiting!
