Birthday Party Weekend!

Well, almost a week later, and my birthday is just finishing up! I had a great time turning 4!

Here I am with my Build A Bear house for Opie (that's what I named my bear...I'm not telling why I picked that name though).

One of my new favorite things to do is play hide and seek. I hide by myself and Mommy and Sam hide together (usually). This time Mommy hid Sam by himself in my closet! Sam was pretty happy about this. Now he just needs to work on being quiet and still when he hides (I need a little work on that too though!).
Now, on to my birthday party! Mommy got more pictures of Sam than me before the party because I was so wild and running around that she couldn't get me still enough to take a picture.

Here's half of the birthday crowd...we're getting ready to play a game.
Here's the game...pin the star on Captain America's shield. Can you tell that I was super excited for everyone to play? And I mean everyone played!
Here I am going first. This was pretty easy. I didn't quite realize that peeking from underneath the blindfold was cheating!
Uncle Jay was a little too tall for the game :)
No, no Great Aunt Mary, you are off the board!
I was trying to convince Grandma where to put hers!

Grandpa is not very close I don't think!

Opening presents! I got a Buzz Light Year and Woody! I think their sayings are pretty funny!

Sam was busy watching the Packer game and yelling at the players.
No Sam, it's not your birthday yet!

With my Super Hero Squad Dairy Queen cake!

Playing Hi Ho Cherry-o with Great Aunt Mary. I'm getting bolder with this game. At first when I won, I would whisper, "I get to say Hi Ho Cherry-o" and then I would say in a nervous voice "Hi Ho Cherry-o".This game is a hit! I even play it by myself.

I had a great birthday and enjoyed all my presents and the company! Tomorrow I go to the Doctor for my 4-year old checkup. I am anxious to see how tall I am because Mommy and Daddy say I have really grown recently!

Children's Museum and Birthdays!

Well, as I write this post, my birthday isn't over yet, but I have so many pictures that I thought I might need two posts.

This past weekend Mommy took Sam to the Children's Museum with Katie and Natalie since Sam had never been there and he is free for 3 more weeks :)

He had a great time crawling around exploring..

Very proud of himself and giving the cheesy smile...

Sam would have stayed in here all day!

Sam and Natalie flying the helicoptor...

The hair dryers weren't very interesting at all...the button on the chair on the otherhand was fascinating!

Natalie is very happy after a yummy lunch!

Another proud smile since he is holding the big cup all by himself!

Celebrating Uncle Jay's birthday. He blew the candles out so quickly that I was still trying to get ready and they were all blown out!

Playing together!

Ok, enough of that. Here is what we do more of...wrestling!

Frosting my cupcakes for my birthday treat at preschool (disclaimer by Mommy: these cupcakes were eaten by the family. Mommy frosted the b-day cupcakes first and then let me at it. I have a tendency to still lick the knife when I frost things)

 Sam wants to help!

At Chuck E Cheese for my birthday!

Sam says, "let me at that pizza!"

Sam enjoying his ride with Chuck E.

I ran a horse race!

All of us boys playing skee ball (not sure if that is how you spell it?)

Riding the roller coaster..

Next stop is Build a Bear to build my very own Captain America Bear...

Here I am pushing the pedal for the stuffing.

Giving him an air bath...

Brushing him...

At home with the finished product...

More birthday pictures to come!

The Little Fishes

Before I get to the Fish part, here are just a couple pictures of how we are growing up!

Sam likes to try to feed himself with a spoon. He hit his mouth a few times, but needs some more practice as there was lots of food on his nose, forehead, etc by the time he was done.

I have a new big bed! I love my bed and am so happy I get to use the quilt Aunt Amanda made me and I also got Avenger bed sheets. It's a perfect combination!

Now, on to the fish part. Mommy had a work conference at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells so Daddy, Sam and I went up on Friday after I was done with school to play in the waterpark for the afternoon when Mommy's conference was done.

Here I am in the lobby. Excited to see everything!

Pushing Sam in the water swing...

Happy water baby!

I went down a ton of slides BY MYSELF! Some, like this one were pretty long and high! I would go all the way up the stairs and come down without needing Mommy or Daddy to catch me. I just had a blast!

Sam checking out all the sights and sounds. He really enjoyed the waterpark too, especially the part where the water was a little warmer, and there were animals in the water to sit on. Mommy didn't have her camera in that section though :(

Can you see me and Daddy? Look high up!

I think next year for my birthday we are going to go to the Kalahari (hopefully with Aunt Amanda and Uncle Jay). We love the Wilderness too, but it is so nice that the Kalahari is all in one big area and you don't have to walk super far between waterparks. Have a great weekend!

Couple Funny Sayings

Mommy wanted to record these sayings from me so I told her it was ok to write them.

I got a happy meal from McDonalds and it had a frankenstein figure in it. Since I don't know much about the Halloween characters, I told Mommy I had a Frank Einstein figure (since I know all about Little Einstein).

Mommy told me the other night that I looked like Justin Bieber since my hair was getting long.  A couple seconds later, Daddy asked me what I was doing because I was pretending to gnaw on him. I replied that I was a beaver! Guess I'm not sure who Justin Bieber is.

I got my Halloween costume (I'm going to be Thor from the Avengers), and I LOVE it. I want to wear it all the time. I told Mommy "thank you very much for my Thor costume and hat. I am so proud of it."

Hope you have a great week!
