More Sam and Me too!

Here are lots of pics of Sam and of me too. We have had an overall great week. Sam is a very good sleeper compared to how I was :) He just needs to work on going to bed before 1am and not sleeping all day then, but hopefully we will get there. Mommy says she is just grateful for the 3 hour stretches Sam gives her.

Enjoy the pictures!

Daddy and I were wrestling (very loudly), and Sam was oblivious to it all!
Here is the close-up...
I still love to hold my brother every chance I get. I would love to carry him around, and I ask every day. Mommy and Daddy say I have to be a grown up so I figure if I keep asking I might end up being a grown-up one of these times.
Ready to go outside for the first time. It was nice to have some 55 degree days before the cold hits!
Sam got his first bath at home so I gave my baby a bath too. Of course Sam lost his cord (skin as I liked to call it) the next day so he will get a tub bath next time.

He didn't like it a whole lot. My baby on the other hand did. She got a full bath complete with one of the toys I take in my bath tub.

Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda came to meet Sam, and I got a new Bumble (I am very into Rudolph still).
This is how Mommy and Daddy found me Sunday night after a day full of visits from all my grandparents and Amanda and Uncle. I NEVER fall asleep like this. Oh, and if you're wondering, I am wearing Daddy's tie and a sleep mask.

Sam is HERE!!

Hi Everyone! My brother Sam is here. He came on Monday, one week early, and was a little naughty (or so I like to say). He had been turned the right way inside Mommy but then turned the wrong way on Monday. Mommy had gone to the doctor and her blood pressure was up so they decided to induce her (not sure what that word means) on Monday. As they were getting ready to do that, they discovered that Sam had turned around so they had to do a C-Section instead (again, not sure what that word means either). The C-Section went fine and the important thing is that Sam is here! I love my little brother, and love smothering him with hugs and kisses and I want to hold him all the time. Mommy and Daddy will say, "you can hold him one more time" and my response is always, "no, 5 more times".

Here they are after surgery. Sam is a little bit awake. He was very alert and awake all during the recovery room.
This was after his first bath. He didn't enjoy it very much. I remember that I wasn't a big fan of that first bath either.
Our first family picture.

At home!

Here's Sam in his bassinet winking at everyone!
I'll be back soon with more updates!

Halloween Fun!

Above are some pictures from Halloween. I got to go trick or treating 2 times, and I had a great time (once I got over my initial fear each time). I did very well saying "ROAR trick or treat".
Mommy wants me to write my funny comment of the week so here it is. Uncle and Amanda this is for you (from watching Rudolph).
Joey: Mommy, where is my tiger?
Mommy: In your bed, I think.
Joey: runs and looks, comes back "No, it's not in my bed, but that's ok because I'm independent."
Have a great week!

An Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch Weekend!

I had a great weekend full of apples, pumpkins, family and friends! First stop on Saturday was Edward's Orchard. This was my 4th time I think, and I had so much fun like always. The weather was beautiful!! Perfect orchard weather.
Mommy barely got me to sit still for this picture because I was so excited to be there (and out of the car)...

The great pirate ship! I had Grandma H come on this with me too...

I really liked this scarecrow. I ran back to him several times while we were there...
Crashed in the car on the way home!
Sunday I went to Skelly's in Janesville to meet Baby Natalie and Baby Sophie (Sophie is actually 15 months old, but Baby Sophie is her name to me!). Baby Natalie and her Mommy weren't feeling the best and couldn't stay very long so I didn't even get a picture!
Here Sophie was just waking up so she wasn't too sure about me yet...
A great playground at this pumpkin patch too!

Playing in the corn box. I had a great time in this! Next year I think I'll be too big to actually climb in it though.
Trying out the ducky race. This was very serious!
I had a great weekend and love Fall! Have a great week everyone!

I'm three!!

Yesterday I turned 3, and had my birthday party! It was a wonderful day!
Here is what I woke up to. Grandma R came early and put blue balloons in the living room. I am still a little out of it, but I was very happy (I love balloons).
The "theme" this year was blue since that has been my favorite color for a long time. Of course the week before the party, I was starting to change my mind to red, but I still really like blue.
Here I am as a ghost. Aunt Amanda made this for me (ok, it is supposed to hang up, but it is much more fun to wear it)!
Here are Uncle and Aunt Amanda's halloween costumes. Don't they look great?
NO! I DID NOT like it one bit. This is what I did when they came in the room. Then I told them, go, get in the car and drive!
Opening presents!
I had this one right side up, but it switched on me! Here I am with Uncle Jay and his cake.
Here is the whole party all dressed in blue!
Playing with moon sand after the party was over. I have never sat so still and quiet for such a long time. I love this stuff!

Here are a couple videos. Here I am saying my full name and where I live.
The second one is singing Happy Birthday to me!!

I had a wonderful birthday and am now a big 3 year old!!

Annual Dells Trip!

I got to take my now annual trip to the Wilderness in the Dells for my birthday. This year Amanda and Uncle Jay came too so it was even more fun than last year!!
Here I am all set to go. I climbed in the car while Mommy was loading stuff and didn't want to get out!
Here is where we ate supper. There were big mooose all over so I was pretty happy...and so was Daddy!
Here I am in the morning when Mommy woke up. I was OUT!
We went to Paul Bunyan for breakfast just like last year, and since Uncle Jay loves this place, it was perfect to go again.
With Amanda and Uncle Jay (and Uncle's bag of doughnuts)...

Here are some videos of me in the waterpark and playing one of the arcade games. I fell down on the tile around the water within the first hour we were in the waterpark so I was pretty sad and scared for awhile after that. After we got some supper and went to a different waterpark, I was back to having a blast, although I did remember to not run around the water (most of the time) after that.

I can't wait to go back next year!
