Random

This post is all about a bunch of random pictures. Since the Holidays are over, we don't have a lot on our schedule now. We are having fun playing, visiting Grandparents, going to Sunday School, and I am enjoying my last weeks at daycare.
Here I am making Sam smile before we had to leave for Sunday School...

I was a little pouty before we left for Sunday School, but luckily I snapped out of it when I got there.
Here are some attempted shots in our "Little Brother" and "Big Brother" shirts...

Sam smiling at his toys on his bouncer.
Sam is starting to play with his toys more and more. I'm not sure if he meant to keep pushing this toy, but he did and seemed to enjoy the music.
He also loves to watch his mobile in is crib. He smiles and coos at it!

Sam wasn't sure what Mommy was doing to him! This was before she went to work so I don't think Sam was ready for pictures yet!

Sam likes tummy time a lot more when I do it with him. Otherwise, he cries!
For those of you who don't know, I have been going through a HUGE pirate phase lately. Swords and pirate ships are the big thing at our house. This is my pirate hat. Yes, I know that it is a knight hat, but I work with what I have!
Have a great week!

Lots to Share!

I have a long update to share, as Mommy has been taking quite a few pictures with our new camera (and we got some from Grandma and Grandpa Hyland too).
Here are a few of Sam that Mommy took before she went back to work. Now I have to work on Daddy taking pictures since he is home with Sam and me.

Last weekend we went to Gurnee, IL for the Hyland Family Christmas. We stayed overnight in a hotel and everything. I had a wonderful time except for getting very overtired. Sam actually did better than me in the hotel, as he slept more than 6 hours. I had a night terror during the night and was crying for almost an hour and Mommy and Daddy couldn't wake me up to snap me out of it. You would never have known it in the morning though, as I was happy as a clam and talking nonstop.
Here we are when we first got to the hotel. Sam was happy to stretch out after being in the car...
Here are some pics from the Hyland Christmas party. Sam got lots of attention.

Waiting patiently for presents...

Showing Maggie my present...
Part of the Hyland clan...
Swimming at the hotel the next morning. I was a little nervous going too far out in the water with Mommy until Grandma, Grandpa, Sam and Daddy came in. Then I had to show off and you couldn't keep me out of the water...

Looking around Bass Pro Shop before we headed for home...
Sam was a little unsure of what was going on, but he soon fell asleep. It was great that it was almost 50 degrees that day and we didn't have to worry about cold weather or snow!
Yeehaw!
This pic is for Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda. This is what happens when Daddy is home with us!
A couple pics of Sam hanging out...

We went to See Grandpa Hyland this weekend since he had knee surgery. Grandma got a new rocking horse from the neighbors so I tried it out with my sword.
Sam took a nap with Grandpa. He REALLY liked the bed and the comfy fleece sheets...

Have a great week!

Happy New Year and a little more Merry Christmas!

Here are some Christmas pictures from Grandma & Grandpa Rikli's camera. Here I am with my stocking...

Opening presents (Sam missed this part since he was sleeping)...
Look at how good I must have been this year!
Family picture: I love Sam's face in this one. He is almost pouting (he better get used to having these kind of pictures taken!).
With Grandma and Grandpa Rikli...
Sam chilling out on New Year's Eve...
Part of our yummy dinner, courtesy of Aunt Kate. Daddy and Mommy loved it!
We did a toast for the New Year, and I did not want to use a plastic glass so Mommy got me one like her and Daddy. Don't worry, I'm drinking Non-alcoholic juice.
This was Sam's seat for most of the meal. He was very good even though he didn't get to eat AND didn't even sit at our level on the table.
Sam started to smile about 3 weeks ago, but between Mommy being slow and our camera breaking, she hadn't gotten one on camera yet. Here is the first capture!
Sam is starting to get very excited about playing in his little gym. He still needs the pillow to be able to reach the toys, but he is getting closer.

Here is a short video of Sam smiling while he looks at the star in his gym. I'm not sure why he thinks it is so great, but that's ok. I am playing my computer in the background so the audio isn't great!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a great 2012!
