A lot has happened in our house since my last post (a lot with Sam at least). Sam got pink eye on Friday the 24th, then a cold on the 25th and his first top tooth on the 27th. Needless to say, we stayed pretty low key over that weekend. Sam is much better now and ready for a few weeks of lots of activities in our house.

I start school (preschool) next week, and get to go to my classroom today to meet some of the kids and take my school supplies, etc. Here are a few pics from the last two weeks. Mommy didn't get many pictures taken though!

Here I am at my last swimming lesson. I still do not like to get my eyes and ears wet so dunking my head didn't happen, but I did well at everything else and I'm definitely more comfortable in water than I was so swimming lessons were a good thing!

I try to take pictures with the camera whenever I can. Mommy told me to take a picture of my toys so here is one that I took!

Silly Sam!

I have to take a picture of my family to school for a project. Here we all are!

Here is a video of me throwing foam blocks at Sam and making a noise. Sam thought it was HILARIOUS. It may sound like he is crying, but he is really just laughing really hard!

Wagon Ride, Park and a Picnic!

Sam and I have been having fun together lately. Sam is starting to play more with toys, and he just loves pretty much everything I do!

Sam's shirt says "World's best Little Brother". I agree with that most of the time!

Playing at the park together!

I have learned how to pump my legs to swing, but it tires me out so this is still how I like to swing if there isn't anyone around to push me.

Last Saturday we went to a place called Pilgrim's Pantry. They were having a 10-year anniversary event, so we got to go on a wagon ride and have pie and fresh-made ice cream. Sam was watched by a very nice girl the whole time we were there. She even came on the wagon ride with us and Sam fell asleep on her lap. Sam also got ice cream from her for the first time. He LOVED it of course.

Sunday, we got to go on a picnic. The weather was just a little cool, but it was great because there weren't bees or mosquitos and the park was pretty much ours!

Sam eating a mum mum...

Here are a couple videos of me and Sam playing at the park. In the first one Sam is clapping (he is VERY proud that he can clap) and in the second I am pushing Sam in the swing. He only laughs like that when I push him in the swing.

Fun, fun, fun!

Here are some pictures of what I have been up to the last couple of weeks. Two weekends ago, I went with G&G Hyland and Uncle Jay (and Mommy, Daddy and Sam) to the Madison Farmers Market. Once I was fed I really enjoyed it. Before that, I was a little bit hard of hearing if you get my drift. But as I like to tell Mommy in the morning now, my tummy is saying he's hungry :)

Here I am taking a break in a coffee shop while Grandma and Mommy get coffee.

Yum, finally some food!

Sam really enjoyed the backpack for almost the whole trip. He got mad right at the end and then boy was he MAD!

Later on Saturday, we went for a hike at Token Creek Park. Again, Sam really enjoyed the backpack. I loved walking on the trails.

Giving Sam a bath for almost the last time in his little bathtub. I had to help and then got soap on his nose!

I got a new basketball hoop. It is so much fun, and Sam loves to watch me. I can't wait for Uncle Jay to come play basketball with me.

Sam had cheerios for the first time, and was very interested in the little round things. He looked and looked at them, and then just started eating them. He also LOVES real banana.

I got to go to a pool party for the summer reading program. Mommy didn't get many pictures, but here is one of me getting ready to go up the slide. Sam had a good time until he got too tired, and then he was just trying to keep his eyes open out of the water.

Sunday I went to a picnic with G&G Hyland. I got to play games, and they had water balloons. As you can see Sam and I both enjoyed those. I tried to get Grandpa Hyland at least 5 times, but the darn balloon just wouldn't break when I threw it at Grandpa!

All the kids there were so nice to play with me. This guy helped me bat a lot.

Sam graduated to the big tub. We both had a good time playing.

Mr. Serious Sam, but Mommy wanted a picture taken with his "duck fuzz". She loves his hair after a bath.
