I have a long update to do since I haven't blogged in a while!
I took swim lessons this summer, and Mommy came with me except for the last two days. I went by myself and did a great job! Here I am on the last day walking in with one of the eachers.
Looking back at Mommy just to make sure she didn't try to go inside on this 100 degree day! (Mommy kind of wished she would have been able to go in the water with me this day. It was HOT!)
My first bow and arrow set broke since I used it so much, so I got a "real" one now. It has an arm guard and everything. I am getting better at using it, although it takes a lot of practice!
I went to Mt Olympus with Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Amanda because Mommy got free tickets from the radio station. I had a great time. Since it was after swim lessons, I was much more easily persuaded to go on the slides and went down a LOT of slides while we were there...some by myself and some on the lap of Mommy, Daddy or Aunt Amanda.
Here's a video of me going down one of the bigger ones with daddy.
We celebrated Grandma Hyland's birthday with her, and I'm still big on the whole singing and blowing out candles thing!
Mommy only had to do a half day at work on Friday so we headed to the beach! Of course, it started raining before we were going to go, but we weren't going to complain since we need the rain so much! It stopped pretty quickly, and it ended up being a good thing because we had the beach almost to ourselves for a little while when we got there. Sam decided to take a nap for almost an hour when we first got there. Good thing we had put sunscreen on him before we left home!
Trying out my new floating ring. I wasn't quite ready to test it in the deeper water yet.
Do you think Sam liked the water? Yep, he did. Once he woke up, he was kicking and splashing away!
It was pretty much impossible to get all 3 of us looking at the camera at the same time!
Playing with my brother. He looks up to me so much, and we are great friends!
Sam is very close to crawling and being able to sit up from lying down. I'm not sure if our house is ready for this!
