Fall is Here!

I have a lot of pictures to share for this post because I just couldn't narrow down what I wanted to put out there! Sam and I just have so much fun!

Here Sam is showing off his pulling up and standing skills. He is starting to walk a little while holding onto hands and furniture. He is also almost always crawling on his hands and knees now too. Sorry Uncle Jay, the army crawl is just about gone!

Practicing my Captain America moves!
Sam playing with the kitchen. If he is left alone here (which I don't let happen very much), he can play for a LONG time opening the doors, banging the dishes, etc.

G&G Hyland stayed in a hotel for a couple nights near us, and it had a pool! We had so much fun playing in it and I asked to go again! We were very tuckered out after our nights in the pool.

Daddy got to join us the first night, and we both had fun splashing Mommy!

During their stay, G&G were in charge of Flat Stanley for Samuel (another Samuel). I got my picture taken a few times with him.

Friday night, I went right to pool and started to go in before anyone else was set to go!

Grandma and Sam with Flat Stanley. Sam was a fish! He loves the water and pretty much made it the whole time we were in the pool both nights (which was about an hour both nights).

Our first trip of the year to an apple orchard...

Playing on the playsets...

Trying to run through the tires...
 Oops, didn't quite make it...
Uncle Jay showing me how it's done!
Sam going down the slide with Flat Stanley...
A cool door to measure our height. We'll have to try to do this picture each year!

We went to Paul Bunyan for our annual visit too. It was Sam's first time, and he was a BIG fan. From the dishes to the food, it all was wonderful for him.
I love making silly faces for the camera now!

All of us (minus Daddy, who was hunting and Amanda, who had to work :(
Riding some little rides at the Tanger Outlet mall. Sam really enjoyed these, and so did I!

Sam started out standing up, but I told him he really shouldn't do that so then he scrunched into the bottom of the ride (see below).

We had a blast, as we always do!

Cheese Days Weekend!

We had a great Cheese Days weekend! Friday, Mommy and Daddy went on a bike ride for Mommy's birthday. They told me that I get to go with them soon. I can't wait!

Friday night, I rode some rides at Cheese Days.  I started out waving and driving, then very seriously driving, then getting a very determined look on my face, then zoning out and staring at the lights in the middle of the ride. My onlookers thought my expressions were pretty funny.

Here is a short video showing the waving and a little bit of the serious driving...

I went on the carousel, but AGAIN had to ride on the bench. I started on a horse but I just know I could fall off, and there is NO way that Mommy could catch me even though she promises she would. I'm quite happy sitting on the bench!

Seeing Chris Mouse, the wood sculpture...

Seeing Chris Mouse, the real character. Note that Sam is the only one who stuck around. I was LONG gone!

Hanging with Grandpa Saturday morning. I couldn't let Sam be the only one on his lap.

Here are some pictures from the parade on Sunday. Sam and I both did REALLY well for  2-hour parade!

Aunt Carolyn trying out my hat! It looks good!

Sam eating his lunch on Aunt Mary's lap. Mommy should have gotten a picture of me because I was VERY happy to sit in my stroller and eat my lunch from my Buzz Lightyear lunch bag. I didn't make a peep for quite a while.

Here comes the parade! A glimpse of some cows!

I like the music!
Mommy had to take a picture of me sitting on the curb. I have never sat on the curb during a parade until this one!

The crowd downtown after the parade...

Going on the rides one more time. This picture is for Great Aunt Mary. She got a hoot out of the little girl sitting in front of me.

Trying the fun house. I made it through the whole thing...

This bridge was kind of scary, and I went VERY slow across the whole thing. Afterward, I told everyone how brave I was and how I went slow so I wouldn't fall.

Stroller races back to the car!

We had a great time and will have to wait 2 years before we get to do it again!

Lots of Pictures!

I have lots of pictures to post. In the past week I started school, went to the Milwaukee Children's Museum and went to the Milwaukee Zoo!

Here is my first day of school picture. I had to take a picture of Daddy after he took my picture. (You can ignore the piece of toast in my hand. Daddy is new to the first day of school picture taking :)

Here I am on the way to Milwaukee to meet Uncle Jay. When Mommy turned around, this is what she saw. She now had Wolverine sitting in the back seat!

At the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. There was so much to see and do here!

Giving the news...
Filming the show, and very serious about it!

Sam and I riding the bus...
My turn to drive!

Grocery shopping!
Here I was giving the little girl cashier some money for my groceries...
At the mechanics' taking an appointment call...
Fixing a car from underneath...

My secretary helping me out...
At the post office. Sam was having fun scooting around. Note the legs on the right side of the screen...

At the bank to get some money!
This picture is for Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda. The 5th President on Mt Rushmore.

Fishing with Uncle Jay. Uncle Jay must be a good swimmer since he didn't need to be in the boat!
Conducting the orchestra...
Hot Air Balloon ride!
Toward the end, we finally found a place for Sam. They had a baby area, and he had a blast. Look at that tongue and concentration...
Heading out to drive to the zoo. I love my Curious George Hoodie from Aunt Kate and Uncle Kevin!
The view from the back!
At the Milwaukee Zoo!
With Uncle Jay at the zoo!
Sam getting very sleepy!
We had a great weekend! Sunday, we were with Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa Rikli while Mommy was at Great America with Aunt Amanda. We all were very tired Sunday Night!
