We had a great Cheese Days weekend! Friday, Mommy and Daddy went on a bike ride for Mommy's birthday. They told me that I get to go with them soon. I can't wait!
Friday night, I rode some rides at Cheese Days. I started out waving and driving, then very seriously driving, then getting a very determined look on my face, then zoning out and staring at the lights in the middle of the ride. My onlookers thought my expressions were pretty funny.
Here is a short video showing the waving and a little bit of the serious driving...
I went on the carousel, but AGAIN had to ride on the bench. I started on a horse but I just know I could fall off, and there is NO way that Mommy could catch me even though she promises she would. I'm quite happy sitting on the bench!
Seeing Chris Mouse, the wood sculpture...
Seeing Chris Mouse, the real character. Note that Sam is the only one who stuck around. I was LONG gone!
Hanging with Grandpa Saturday morning. I couldn't let Sam be the only one on his lap.
Here are some pictures from the parade on Sunday. Sam and I both did REALLY well for 2-hour parade!
Aunt Carolyn trying out my hat! It looks good!
Sam eating his lunch on Aunt Mary's lap. Mommy should have gotten a picture of me because I was VERY happy to sit in my stroller and eat my lunch from my Buzz Lightyear lunch bag. I didn't make a peep for quite a while.
Here comes the parade! A glimpse of some cows!
I like the music!
Mommy had to take a picture of me sitting on the curb. I have never sat on the curb during a parade until this one!
The crowd downtown after the parade...
Going on the rides one more time. This picture is for Great Aunt Mary. She got a hoot out of the little girl sitting in front of me.
Trying the fun house. I made it through the whole thing...
This bridge was kind of scary, and I went VERY slow across the whole thing. Afterward, I told everyone how brave I was and how I went slow so I wouldn't fall.
Stroller races back to the car!
We had a great time and will have to wait 2 years before we get to do it again!
I love reading your website, Joey! I keep up with it. I wish I could see you in person, one of these days.
